What is the age range?

7 and up! The concept, narrative, and art-style are all family-friendly!

How many players does the game support?

2-4 players. If we hit our stretch goal, we’ll unlock 1-player mode too!

How long does it take to learn and play?

Learning the rules takes only a minute or two. Each round lasts between 5-10 minutes as well, meaning it’s easy to jump into and play without a steep learning curve or time investment, making Snack Attack a great family and party game.

Can I get Snack Attack in other Languages?

No. For the time being, there is only an English language version of the game available. While we can’t promise any other languages for now, we are planning on bringing Snack Attack to a larger, global audience in the future. Make sure to follow us on social media for more details as we develop!

Do you offer International Shipping?

No. Due to the pandemic and this being GameDirection’s first Kickstarter, we’ve made the difficult choice to limit our scope to only North America. If you are located in Canada or the US, you can find our estimated prices for shipping by selecting your reward level and choosing your location in the drop-down menu. For those outside of North America, we have plans to bring Snack Attack to a larger, global audience in the future. Follow us on social media for more details as we develop!

Can I pay without a credit card?

No. During the Kickstarter campaign, we’re only accepting payments through Kickstarter. Once the campaign is over, we’ll certainly explore other methods of payment. Updates will be made available at http://www.gamedirection.net/snackattack

Can you lower my shipping costs?

Probably not. We’ve put in a great deal of effort to get the lowest possible shipping costs for everyone all over the world already, including handling the assembly and fulfillment of your rewards ourselves. We cannot promise anyone any special exceptions, especially during these unprecedented times. We will keep everyone updated and our fingers to the pulse on any further reductions on shipping that we’ll be able to get you.

Where are you printing the game?

Snack Attack is being manufactured by JimiAgency, a company responsible for and has a long history of producing an assortment of high-quality products for many artists and game developers over the world.

Can I change/update/delete/add to/massage my address/order?

Yes. At the end of the campaign, a survey will be sent out asking you for a final mailing address plus a detailed description of exactly what you ordered so that we can confirm everything before we put your copy of Snack Attack (and other rewards) in the mail!

What size are the cards?

Our cards are standard size playing cards (2.5”x3.5”).

What's the difference between the Standard and Shiny versions?

The “Shiny” version of Snack Attack has a shimmering finish that applies a holographic, broken glass-like effect to each playing card. There are no differences in the content included or how the game is played between both versions.

Whatcha gonna do with all that cash?

Most of the funds raised from this Kickstarter will go into the production, refinement, and shipping of Snack Attack to ensure that our hungry, blue dinos make it to your door in the best possible state. If there’s any funding leftover, we’ll put it into coming up with more ways to reward our backers for their amazing support!

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
