 New Update & Other News!

Hey everyone!

It's been a while since the Kickstarter campaign for Snack Attack has concluded, but that doesn't mean we've stopped working on and improving the game. We've since taken Snack Attack to several conventions around the world, and spurred on by the many suggestions we've received, the diverse audiences we've met, and the love of gaming we've shared with the gaming community at large, we've added new accessibility features to make Snack Attack even better!

Introducing Braille

The v1.2.0 update to Snack Attack will be receiving Braille punchouts in the bottom left-hand corner of the cards!

Introducing Blind & Visually Impaired Accessibility Support!

You'll need something sharp (like a sewing needle or thumbtack) and a sighted friend handy, but you can punch out the white dots from the back of the card to allow your blind friends to play Snack Attack, too!

If you're worried about damaging your cards, don't worry! We'll be updating all Print-and-Play versions to include these Braille guides so that modify it instead. We'll also be switching our manufacturing techniques for future print runs of Snack Attack to include these Braille guides if you want an official blind-friendly version.

 Introducing the Flavour Wheel

Another hotly requested item by the community is the Flavour Wheel! This is a small, quality of life improvement that helps players more clearly identify what flavours can be played on what, allowing you to more easily plan out your strategies. An extra touch we've added is the Yummy and Bleh Nom Icons to help identify if the flavour is a Good or Bad one, respectfully.

What Else We've Been Up To

If you haven't seen it yet, we've released another Kickstarter campaign for a second card game called Dungeons and Dinos that only has 3 days left! Like Snack Attack, Dungeons and Dinos star the Nomnisaurs—but this time, they've gotten their grubby paws on a DnD Manual instead of Snacks. What possible hijinks have they gotten themselves into this time?! It involves cardboard swords, potlid shields, glowsticks, and more!

We'll let the campaign speak the rest, so please visit the following link to find out more: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nomnivoregames/dungeons-and-dinos-the-card-game.

Dear backers,

It's update time! Over the last two weeks, we've been busy assembling each and every Snack Attack! deck with love and care. And with that final stage complete, we wanted to thank you for your incredible patience as we share the awesome news that we've begun shipping out orders!

Yes, I was watching Haikyu!! while assembling the decks.

Approximately 50% of the shipments have already been mailed out and the remaining half should be sent out the next few weeks. We're incredibly proud of what we've been able to accomplish with Snack Attack!, and it was all made possible by the help of our backers like you. Our appreciation knows no bounds and we'll provide a final project update once we complete fulfillment of the final orders.

As your copies of Snack Attack! arrive, we'd be thrilled to see photos of you playing the game. That way, we'll know that you've received your copy!

Hey, backers!

We're excited to announce that Snack Attack! now exists in physical form! Yes, you read that right! The printing of the deck and box has been completed and the finished print run is scheduled to reach our doorstep this month (barring no pandemic-related delays)!

Printed!

Timeline for Product Arrival & Reward DeliveryWe've already coordinated the delivery of the game, the add-ons, and all other goodies to be sent to us in a single shipment with a fulfillment company overseas. Once they arrive, we'll be doing a final check to confirm that what we've received is in good condition and of proper quality before beginning the process of shipping rewards out to our backers. If there are no problems with what we receive, shipping should begin on schedule (or perhaps even a bit earlier fingers crossed)!

Please note that we will be shipping packages as a whole, meaning that all copies of the game, all add-ons, all rewards, etc. will be sent to you in a single package.

As always, we'd like to thank the community for all the enthusiasm, feedback, and patience as we worked on making this game the best it can be!
